As you all probably know by now, David Foster Wallace hung himself this past Friday.  It's a strange feeling to hear that someone you respected and envied didn't want their life any longer.  It's a collective and broad lose to the world, but somehow it feels much more personal.  Of all the posts remembering DFW, his colleague and friend John Seery says it best.
